The Chattanooga Readers and Writers Fair is a celebration of all things literary, for and by the entire community. It will be held September 7 at the Chattanooga City Library. Author readings will be held in the main floor auditorium, children’s activities on the 2nd floor, vendor booths with readings on the 4th floor, and the front plaza will host an open mic and other literary performances.
Applications are now open to participate!
Open call for writers
Writers will have the opportunity to present their work in the following categories: poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, children’s literature, and non-English writing of all genres. For details see the “Participate” page.
Announcing the Chattanooga Writers’ Guild day at Barnes and Noble Books
On June 22 at the Hamilton Place, Barnes and Noble Books, when customers refer to CWG, a portion of sales will be donated to our organization to support the Chattanooga Readers and Writers Fair. We will have CWG member authors read from and sell their books between 2 and 4 pm. We will also read in the children’s area at 11 am. Presenting authors will be: Cynthia Robinson Young, Janie Watts Spataro, Leah Price, KB Ballentine, MJ Kobernus, Mark Anderson, and Susan Spurgeon.
